Full Time Unpaid Internship
An internship at The Orchard offers students a unique hands-on experience in the exciting and fast-growing field of media distribution, marketing and sales. Our internships are unpaid.
As the Operations Intern in the Performance Rights Services department, you will work closely with department coordinators in order to learn how the delivery, registration and collection of our client’s royalty revenue globally works; You’re eager to learn and apply the knowledge you’ve gained from your studies to the rapidly growing world of performance rights! You’re a problem solver and very curious, eager to identify and tackle any challenge put in front of you; You’re an excellent communicator who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; You’re great at following processes, procedures, and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Interns will gain hands-on experience by:
• Working with Orchard international partners to learn how to deliver, register and collect master rights royalties on behalf of client base of over 3,000 independent labels.
• Assisting Performance Rights team in statement processing, contract administration and rights conflict resolution as needs arise.
• Providing organizational support to Performance Rights team as needed.
Qualifications:
• Must be a college student enrolled in a class and receiving credit specifically for this internship. Interns will need to provide documentation verifying enrollment prior to their start date.
• College credit required
• Consistently punctual and able to adhere to a set schedule
• Comfort in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Well-organized and attentive to detail; outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Excel preferred
