Sony/ATV is seeking a creative Social Media Coordinator to set and execute our social strategies for Sony/ATV Music Publishing. This position will coordinate our social media efforts to increase our footprint across all platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat and Twitter, as well as emerging platforms. This key role is for a music junkie with a strong knowledge of social media and proven experience using data to inform and drive growth strategies.
Responsibilities of the Social Media Coordinator may include, but are not limited to:
*Develop and execute a social media strategy across our social channels
*Oversight of daily posting and engagement across social channels
*Create highly shareable multi-media stories to grow audience engagement
*Develop, enhance and maintain relationships with talent (songwriters & artists)
*Cultivate relationships with associated Label partners (Capitol Records, Columbia, Interscope, Epic, RCA, etc.)
*Contribute ideas to content verticals and special reports
*Build and enhance key internal and external social media contacts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.)
*Maintain and develop social partnerships with other media organizations (Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, etc.) and partners.
*Assess and analyze the daily posts to ensure content is on target and effective
*Measure the impact and return of social media on overall Marketing and PR efforts
*Ensure weekly, monthly, campaign and event reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner
*Other Ad-hoc responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
*Minimum of 1-2 years working in social media at a music company or an agency with a focus on music and storytelling
*Has a good sense of the trending music topics that will resonate with our audience and showcase the Sony/ATV brand
*Demonstrable expertise in setting a vision and motivating other participating divisions to achieve strategic results
*Excellent writing, editing & organizational abilities
*Creative eye and ability to shoot images
*Ability to navigate a matrixed structure and work collaboratively with peers across the organization
*Desire to work in a creative, demanding, competitive environment fast-paced, constantly changing environment
*Strategic planning and project management success
*Creative thinker that can cultivate interesting content
*Fluent in social media monitoring and execution platforms
*Strong analytic skills both qualitative and quantitative
*Strong knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Premiere
