Search for Licensing Coordinator jobs in Nashville-TN
The Licensing department at Sony/ATV Music Publishing is seeking to fill the position of Licensing Coordinator.
The Licensing Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
Enter license data into various internal license tracking systems
Work with record labels and other licensees to secure mechanical and related licenses
Research song info and seek approval from writers with licensing restrictions
Prepare licenses and various documents for document imaging system
Assist Mechanical Licensing Department with various tasks and projects
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
Working knowledge of music licensing and licensing rights
Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments and outside contacts
Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting various deadlines
Highly organized and detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Results driven
Strong analytical ability
High proficiency of various computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Access, with the ability to quickly learn programs
Minimum of one year of music publishing or equivalent industry experience required
