Search for Income Tracking Position jobs in Nashville-TN
Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Nashville is seeking to fill a position in our Income Tracking department.
The primary responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Research royalty/license data and work with Royalties and Licensing department to ensure accurate royalty posting and license entry
• Review Statement Line Matched/Unmatched report to identify any royalty lines without licenses and entering license info into internal system
• Assist with managing tracking resources, including but not limited to working with and entering SoundScan and BDS data
• Analyze internal income tracking reports, including Expected Income Reports, to identify unpaid and underpaid royalties
• Communicate with record labels, societies, DSPs and various other sources to recover unpaid and underpaid royalties
• Perform DSP audio streaming and label video streaming tracking analysis
• Perform Charts database maintenance as necessary including working with Billboard charting and BDS Encore data for DSP, PRO and label NDMA tracking
• Assist Management with research and preparation of various income tracking analysis reports
• Analyze system processing errors and communicating errors to IT
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments and outside contacts
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting various deadlines
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical ability
• Basic proficiency of various computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Access, with the ability to quickly learn programs that work with large volumes of data
• Working knowledge of music licensing and royalty accounting structure associated with various license types
• Previous music publishing or equivalent industry experience required
