Search for Director, North America Income Tracking jobs in Nashville-TN
The Director, N. America Income Tracking will have the following responsibilities:
*General oversight of the North American Income Tracking department and personnel
*Review & develop tracking methodologies which ensure both efficiency and accuracy in review and recovery of revenue
*Reviewing record companies' & mechanical/performance organizations' royalty accountings
*Communicating with sources regarding royalty reporting/non-reporting errors
*Ensuring royalty accountings are reported accurately in compliance with agreements and on a timely basis
*Communicating with Global Royalty Center personnel regarding processing errors and addressing their processing inquiries
*Maintain the system licensee and source links
*License Tracking Database Administrator, working with Licensing, Copyright and Income Tracking on any system maintenance or reporting issues
*Deal Tracking Database Administrator, working with Income Tracking, Global Royalties, Accounting, Synch and North American Royalty Admin on any system maintenance or reporting issues
*Charts Database Administrator, working with Income Tracking on any system maintenance or reporting issues
*Income Tracking Inquiry System Administrator, working with Income Tracking on any system maintenance or reporting issues
*Analyze and distribute Monthly Mechanical Receipts Comparison and Commentary
*Analyze and distribute Cross-PRO Single analysis quarterly
*Analyze system processing errors & communicate errors to IT
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
*Ability to initiate and manage projects including systems enhancements and development
*Ability to work and communicate effectively with senior management
*Exceptional interpersonal relationship building
*Demonstrated ability to lead and foster teamwork and unity within a department
*Outstanding employee coaching and development skills
*Deep understanding of copyright economics and industry standard accounting principles and practices
*Highly organized and detail oriented
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent analytical ability
*Advanced proficiency of various computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Access, with the ability to quickly learn programs that work with large volumes of data
*Proven collections track record
*Minimum 7 years mechanical licensing, income tracking, and/or other related experience required
