Search for Director, Income Tracking jobs in Nashville-TN
Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Nashville is seeking to fill the position of Director, Income Tracking.
The Director, Income Tracking will have the following responsibilities:
•General oversight of the Income Tracking department and personnel
•Review & develop tracking methodologies which ensure both efficiency and accuracy in review and recovery of revenue
•Oversight of various databases used for income tracking including License Tracking, Chart Tracking, Deal Tracking and various other databases
•Continued development of income tracking tools and databases currently used to improve income tracking efficiencies
•Continued development of tracking tools used specifically for tracking various streaming income types
•Ensure royalty accountings are reported accurately in compliance with agreements and on a timely basis
•Review royalty accountings from record companies, PROs, DSPs, and various sources to identify reporting errors
•Communicate with sources regarding royalty reporting/non-reporting errors
•Communicate royalty processing errors to Royalties department and answer inquiries from various departments regarding royalty accountings/payments
•Analyze system processing errors & communicate errors to IT
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
•Ability to initiate and manage projects including systems enhancements and development
•Ability to work and communicate effectively with senior managementExceptional interpersonal relationship building
•Demonstrated ability to lead and foster teamwork and unity within a department
•Outstanding employee coaching and development skills
•Deep understanding of copyright economics and industry standard accounting principles and practices
•Highly organized and detail orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent analytical ability
•Advanced proficiency of various computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Access, with the ability to quickly learn programs that work with large volumes of data
•Results oriented with proven track record
•Minimum 7 years mechanical licensing, income tracking, and/or other related experience required
