Search for Digital Services Coordinator jobs in Los Angeles-CA
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position is responsible for ingesting, deep tagging, and cleaning up Sony/ATV-EMI's music catalog within the company's PITCH MUSIC LIBRARY SYSTEM
Enrich songs from Sony/ATV's and EMI's extensive catalog with creative metadata for use in its licensing application, PITCH
Identify the Genre, Style, Mood, Instrumentation, Dynamic and Vocal style, among other criteria in Sony/ATV's data taxonomy structure
Research songs to find relevant data corresponding to its commercial release
Contribute to the enhancement of the taxonomy
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist users in Film & TV and A&R with questions relating to the metadata and/or PITCH System in general
Report problems/bugs to the Service Desk or PITCH programmers, depending on the extent of the issue
Work with users in Film & TV and A&R in a data integrity context to refine the tags/methodology actively attributed to songs
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Music or Related Field
Proficient with MS Excel, MS Outlook, FTP Clients, iTunes
Skills in basic Internet Research
Advanced analytical skills
Highly organized, detail oriented, resourceful, team player and work well under strict deadlines
Punctual
Loves music and musicology
