Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Nashville is seeking to fill the position of Coordinator, North American Copyright Administration. The preferred candidate will have at least one year of office administration experience, preferably from within the music industry.
Coordinator, North American Copyright Administration
*Assisting with special projects and affiliate requests
*Creation of label copy for Latin catalog
*Maintain product order spreadsheet
*Data entry
*Day to day maintenance of affiliate song/client data
*Day to day maintenance of song / copyright registration data
*Responding to affiliate queries in a timely manner
*Working closely and taking direction from the Analyst team
*Weekly review of Billboard charts
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills and attributes:
*Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a ''customer service'' oriented environment
*Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while handling multiple tasks
*Ability to manage and prioritize a large volume of work
*Ability to prioritize and complete all tasks in the allotted time frame
*Ability to set their own goals, while working within departmental goals
*Computer systems literate - proficiency in the use of MS Word and Excel
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work constructively with different personalities
*Flexible and able to work under the pressure of multiple deadlines
*Knowledge and experience in music publishing administration.
*Strong analytical abilities
