Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Nashville is seeking to fill the position of North American Royalty Administration Coordinator. The preferred candidate will have experience in music royalty administration and customer service, and will possess strong problem solving skills.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Receive, track, research, and respond to client account inquiries via both phone and email
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to our clients
• Coding and posting of monthly demo invoices into our publishing system
• Provide client access to SCORE, our client website
• Assist department during royalty distributions and internal audit
• Perform financial transactions, balance transfers, and special projects as needed
• Work with various departments to facilitate accurate and timely client royalty payment
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 1-2 years of experience in Royalty Administration or related field preferred
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a ''customer service'' position
• Strong computer skills, with specific proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to take direction, with a focus on ''big-picture'' processes and functions of a major Music Publisher
• Ability to work with various departments to accomplish company-wide goals
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with an ability to manage large workloads and effectively prioritize demands
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under the pressure of deadlines
• Ability to learn and master new software, technology and processes
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
