Clearance Coordinator, Film & TV - West Coast
Licensing:
• Analyze, negotiate, facilitate clearance and quote on publishing requests:
o Television
o Television Promos
o Film
o Internet
• Secure necessary writer approvals
• Process synchronization licenses
• Track all upcoming airdates for television synchs
• Follow-up to secure signed licenses & payments
• Special Projects as assigned
• Develop, maintain and expand key customer relationships
REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
• 1-2 years' experience in music publishing synchronization or record company master licensing
• Bachelor's degree preferred
Skills/Requirements:
• Must be able to read and understand materials and documents and have the ability to recognize and extract critical data and information.
• Understanding of US and international copyright basics
• Ability to efficiently and accurately resolve license issues.
• Ability to read, extract and input critical data.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, within a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• High level of professional communication etiquette with ability to effectively interact with clients to finalize licenses and collection of fees.
• Self-starter with the ability to handle high volume of licenses with accurate execution.
• Strong organization skills, high attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
• Ability to function in a high pressure environment and use good judgment
• Ability to prioritize and handle many projects at once
• Ability to function and create a Customer Focused Culture
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
