Somebody Studios is a company with several feature films/TV series in various stages of development and production as well as an online community and educational site about all aspects of filmmaking. The company is run by an award-winning writer/director/cinematographer with over 30 years' experience on some of the most successful studio and independent films of the past few decades.
We are looking for an intern to help us create promotional materials that fit our brand and connect with our audience as well as helping create graphics for dynamic educational videos about all aspects of filmmaking. You will also assist in the design of pitch proposals for our film and TV projects. If it is of interest to you, you can be present at the shoots for the online educational site and will have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the most successful above and below the line filmmakers of the past 50 years.
The ultimate goal of our internship program is to provide students with a learning and training experience that will allow them the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the classroom in a professional work environment. We will tailor your internship to your specific interests and skills. Although, we would like to offer interns the opportunity to join our workforce on a full-time basis, an offer for a full-time position after an internship is not guaranteed. Students interested in the opportunity to gain valuable work experience with a successful production company should send resumes, reels, portfolios, and any other information you'd like us to consider, as well as a note on why you would like to work for our company.
We are based in Venice, CA. There is also opportunity to contribute and learn beyond graphic design depending on your individual interests but we want to give you a platform to develop your art as a graphic designer in the entertainment industry.
