Somebody Studios is a company with several feature films/TV series in various stages of development and production as well as an online community and educational site about all aspects of filmmaking. The company is run by an award-winning writer/director/cinematographer with over 30 years' experience on some of the most successful studio and independent films of the past few decades.
We are looking for enthusiastic interns with an interest in learning more about feature film and TV development who also have an interest in film production. The internship will involve reading and writing coverage on scripts, assisting in producing pitch decks, assisting our development team with research, and, if it is of interest to you, you can help produce and be present at the shoots for the online educational site and will have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the most successful above and below the line filmmakers of the past 50 years.
The ultimate goal of our internship program is to provide students with a learning and training experience that will allow them the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the classroom in a professional work environment.
We will tailor your internship to your specific interests and skills. Although, we would like to offer interns the opportunity to join our workforce on a full-time basis, an offer for a full-time position after an internship is not guaranteed.
Students interested in the opportunity to gain valuable work experience with a successful production company should send resumes, reels, portfolios, and any other information you'd like us to consider, as well as a note on why you would like to work for our company.
Requirements:
*Fluency in Final Draft
*Must own a working MAC laptop
*Must have a professional attitude and be a team player
*Must be available 2-3 days a week
