Snail Games USA has a great opportunity for a Marketing Manager looking for a creative and innovative environment to apply their skills! This is a unique opportunity to help manage the marketing of existing and future titles from our parent company, Suzhou Snail Electronic Company (Snail Game). Game industry/community experience is highly preferred, and your knowledge and passion for the video game market should be clear and evident. You must be able to relate to, communicate, and develop campaigns and promotions for ''gamers'' on their own level.
The successful candidate will be a rock star performer with creative flair and a strong attention to detail. They will possess the vision to oversee the messaging and branding of all promotions for the various titles published by Snail Games USA, while assisting in the evolution of our marketing plans. They will stay current on competitor's traction in the MMOG space, and have a deep understanding of Online Marketing. The ideal applicant will create and schedule traffic-generating promotions such as user-generated contests, sweepstakes, viral marketing promotions and online advertisements, and have the metric reporting to prove their success.
Responsibilities:
* Managing media communications and negotiations with media partners
* Develop marketing plans and create traffic-generating promotions such as sweepstakes, contests and viral marketing campaigns.
* Responsible for creating, reviewing and publishing media news articles
* Collaborate with Business Development teams on ideas for partner promotions
* Manage promotional calendar for Snail Games USA including: liaison with content producers, scheduling ads with art department and overseeing creative for all online advertisements and promotional spots.
* Work with Community Manager on promotions involving current players, to ensure consistent marketing image
* Analyze & conduct market research/analysis to support strategic market entry plan for North & South America
Skills Required:
* At least 2 years experience in marketing field in video game industry
* Established communication, people, presentation and organizational skills
* Must be able to multi-task, managing several projects simultaneously
* Ability to excel in a team environment with minimal supervision
* Skilled with Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word
For Additional Brownie Points:
* Ability to speak/read Mandarin is a big plus
* Experience in a relevant online/digital marketing role for video games/MMOs
* Work experience in the field of copywriting, advertising or promotional media
* Experience and knowledge of web site technology, design and production
* Demonstrated interest / passion for video games (especially MMOs) |
