Snail Games USA has a great opportunity for a Graphics/Web Designer looking for a creative and innovative environment to apply their skills! Ideal candidates will have game industry or related experience, extensive knowledge and a passion for the video game market. You must be able to relate to and communicate with ''gamers'' on their own level.
As an accomplished Graphics/Web Designer, you are the creative rock star that will bring our online marketing vision to life! The perfect candidate will be able to create dazzling graphics for websites, advertisements, posters, and other related media. They will be able to create clean & efficient websites with HTML, CSS, PHP, Flash, and similar languages. They will understand coding standards and be knowledgeable of online privacy issues, providing accurate documentation for their projects. They will create innovative advertisements for use across our network and promotional/channeling partners. Critical Traits include teamwork, leadership and a dedication to excellence. You must be focused and comfortable in juggling multiple projects with flexible deadlines, and crunching rush requests out with limited warning. Additionally experience working with a Chinese company and the ability to speak/read Mandarin would be awesome, but not required.
= Responsibilities =
• Plan and design website(s), and develop style guidelines and style guide documents
• Design and implement creative designs and graphics using HTML, CSS, and Flash.
• Excellent team player working with developers and other divisions.
• Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions.
• Experience optimizing images for web user interface and creating HTML/CSS that matches a original design layout and understanding how mockups translate to code
• Produce a consistent visual image across web sites
• Create dynamic and scalable interactive Flash applications and advertisements.
• Contribute to enhancing skills / design ideas / quality control
• Provide updated status report weekly, and comprehensive quarterly reports to the management with forecast and analysis of any technical issues, costs, needs, etc.
= Required Skills =
• Link to online portfolio REQUIRED for consideration
• Highly proficient in CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, HTML
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to create, edit and release print-ready files for marketing collateral and advertising materials
• Ability to work at a fast pace and within deadlines
• Excellent Aesthetic design skills, information visualization skills
Works well with stakeholders and team members of all disciplines and experience levels
• Willingness to work additional hours and travel when needed
• Familiar with video game market and design trends in similar sites

• Experience with in the video game industry.
• Experience developing advertising with Fantasy/Sci-Fi/ect.
• Experience designing for mobile experiences a strong +
• Knowledge of actionscript; xml; JScript (Ajax, jQuery)
• Experience with After Effects. |
