Slate PR is seeking an office manager. Responsibilities include:
Reception/front desk duties, overseeing various office support duties, office troubleshooting, tracking and working with all vendors, and overseeing the intern program. Requires strong communication skills and knowledge of entertainment industry and public relations. May oversee other office administrative staff and cover assistants desk as needed. Will also be expected to oversee HR responsibilities such as maintaining office policies and procedures. Communicate often with Slate PR partners and staff to streamline logistics and issues.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Administrative / reception duties including answering main phone line and transferring calls, tracking and distributing incoming/outgoing packages
Maintaining various lists and sharing with entire company on a regular basis - including client roster, event lists, vacation requests, conference room schedule, etc.
Managing Slate PR general request email inbox
Oversee Slate PR intern program
Oversee office press clipping system
Maintaining contact with company accountant and overseeing company billing / credit card report
Office management , troubleshooting malfunctions, managing office supply vendors, supplies, groceries, etc.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience (2+ years preferred)
Strong work ethic and familiarity with business operations / knowledge of entertainment industry and public relations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Exceptional interpersonal skills with strength in both written and verbal communication
Strong ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, track responsibilities and meet deadlines
Detail oriented, responsible and conscientious
Team player mentality
