FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY INTERNSHIP (Beverly Hills)
Beverly Hills based development/production company is looking for a highly qualified and motivated development intern to start immediately. The intern will be learning film development first-hand at a growing production company with multiple film deals, up-and-coming clients, and a feature film that is scheduled to go into production later this year.
Duties include reading a large quantity of scripts/books, writing coverage, doing research, answering phones, running errands, compiling actor/writer/director lists, providing creative input, administrative duties, scheduling meetings, and working one-on-one with writers, directors, talent, etc.
Must be able to make a 2-3-day/week commitment. Discretion is absolutely mandatory. Knowledge of film and strong English writing skills are a MUST. Knowledge and proficiency in programs such as the Adobe Suite and Excel are a plus and should be mentioned in the cover letter.
