We are looking for an organized, committed, and motivated individual to drive our marketing department. You must be capable of building and developing a team, managing multiple projects at once, effective at working with internal and external stakeholders, detail-oriented, self-directed, proactive, and accountable to meeting deadlines. The role will include everything from day-to-day operational problem solving to plugging into big picture design and strategy work needed to optimize a decentralized organization.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience working in marketing roles
Proven track record of success ideating, planning, and executing marketing campaigns
Resourceful and self motivated team leader capable of designing corporate level marketing strategies
Knowledgeable, or interested in learning, about blockchain and breakthrough technologies that are reshaping industries
Skilled at communicating technical or complex concepts in ways that are simple, accessible, and engaging to a variety of audiences
Comfortable setting up Google Analytics and other digital tools, determining KPI's to measure success, and using data to report on progress
Experience building and/or growing communities in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, Slack, etc.)
Track record of planning and executing content marketing and earned media/PR strategies, with an intuitive understanding of how content moves through the internet, and which stories stick and drive audience engagement
Comfortable building and executing paid user acquistion campaigns on all major platforms, collecting analytics, and measuring ROI
Experience planning and managing in-person events and meetups
Experience with email marketing strategy and platforms such as Mail Chimp
Able to manage visual branding processes such as logos, strategic website design, video creation and distribution, and newsletter design
Responsibilities:
Build and manage the marketing department; plan, monitor and appraise ongoing staff accountabilities
Develop the marketing staff through ongoing education and experiential growth opportunities
Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues, provide information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, and recommend options and courses of action to the larger team
Obtain market share by developing plans and programs for each product, while directing their promotional support
Maintain relations with partners and media contacts by organizing and developing specific programs, and managing company presence at conventions, meetings, trade associations, and seminars
Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing the research, analysis, and interpretation of market data
Influence present and future products through ongoing evaluation of market trends
Develop new uses for existing products through data analytics, and consultation with internal and external sources
Prepare and manage an annual marketing budget to target and achieve financial and growth objectives
