Shout! Factory's is seeking a Production Administrator to join our Video Production / Digital Media team. This position will be the organizational hub of the department.
So what are we looking for in a candidate? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who excels at organization, has a keen eye for detail and a strong aptitude for learning new software. This position requires someone who is able to handle a high volume of work, be able to keep deadlines and enjoy a fast-paced environment. And did we mention organized? Yeah, really organized. There are a few of the responsibilities that can be taught on the job. However, a successful candidate must be able to hit the ground running because she or he will have a good understanding of digital codecs and tape formats, proficiency working with excel and outlook and the willingness to ask for clarification, input or information when needed.

Position Reports to: Director of Production Operations
Principle Responsibilities:
• Update and maintain department work orders and schedules, including workflow schedule and a physical and digital production schedules, and work orders
• Create vendor purchase orders and process all vendor invoices using Netsuite (accounting system) and ensuring recoupable expenses are tracked
• Coordinate internal purchase and travel requests for the department and outside talent as designated by producers
• Provide administrative support for the VP of Production/Digital Media and the Production department as needed, including labeling materials, filing and shipping media
• Traffic coordinator for all assets and digital media, primarily receiving, distributing and tracking all incoming and outgoing content files/materials using existing documents/systems
• QC a portion of our master video elements and DVD/BD check disc advances (this currently makes up 30% of the position's time, department goal is to reduce that by half)
• Create avails and metadata for our titles (data entry) for various digital content platforms (ie., Amazon, Netflix) using IMDB, Wikipedia and other online resources
• Conduct online research to help organize video assets and metadata in a logical, analytical way
Qualifications:
• Must be Mac and PC proficient, with specific proficiency in outlook, excel and google sheets
• Must have knowledge of video formats and digital codecs
• Must be detail oriented, highly organized and work well in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in digital file management is preferred
• Production Assistant experience is a plus
