Executive Assistant to SVP & VP Business/Legal Affairs
Shine America seeks a qualified assistant to assist the SVP and VP in the Business and Legal Affairs team. These executives work across all business units which include unscripted and scripted television programming, digital, production and ancillary exploitation (including merchandising, licensing, and product integration). The environment is demanding and fast-paced. This position is considered a valuable member of the business/legal team and has the goal of increasing efficiency within the department. Responsibilities will include drafting correspondence and other documents, updating and maintaining status reports and business affairs summaries, and handling many administrative responsibilities (including phone calls, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, and maintaining paper and electronic files for the business and legal affairs department). The assistant must build and maintain relationships within the company and facilitate communications with colleagues in the creative, production, brand development, digital and distribution departments as well as maintain a professional demeanor when corresponding (phone and email) with television network representatives, agents, outside counsel, and employees of other Shine Group companies. Qualified candidates must possess enthusiasm, a sense of humor, flexibility, creativity and the willingness to assume challenges and increased responsibility. The more initiative that is shown and the more ability that the assistant has, the more the assistant will get to learn and do.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Must be a self-starter and work well under pressure
Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail

Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

Strong work ethic
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
