Job Summary:
The Subtitling Coordinator job is key in helping provide customer service to our clients. The Coordinator assists clients by placing orders for subtitling and translation projects, coordinating and tracking completion of projects as well as troubleshooting and assisting management as needed and working with translators to complete projects. Past subtitling experience a plus.
Coordinate the production process for digital media localization projects, acting as a liaison between clients and production teams.
Track projects to ensure on-time delivery and address issues in a timely manner to minimize delays.
Responsible to assigning and scheduling translators. Communicating with translators to ensure they have the information required to complete the work.
Provides project and operational updates to supervisor and escalates issues as necessary .
Coordinate with technical development to create technical solutions to meet client needs.
Clearly explain any technical errors or bugs to development team and ensure they get fixed in a timely manner.
Create or update reports by collecting data from various sources and entering into
spreadsheet. This may include weekly progress status reports, asset tracking reports, priority list updates, internal project task list, etc.
Data entry into database. This may include entering new projects, new clients, and new users. This may also include updating of existing information.
Prepare and send internal communications to critical departments regarding project specs, revisions, and approvals.
Assist supervisor with billing and other administrative duties.
Perform database testing and provide relevant feedback regularly.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
BA or BS degree preferred.
1-2 years of post-production, account coordination, or client service experience preferred
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Strong technical skills and general understanding of database and cloud technology is preferred.
Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Individual must also be able to work independently within their own process.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, inventory, internet, order processing, and database software.
Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
