In this hybrid role, (Creative & Broadcast) you have an innate ability to conceptualize and understand the creative development process, while easily transitioning from a hands-on creative to providing artistic video editing direction. The ideal candidate understands both the technical and creative aspects of editing, shooting, conceptualizing and post production.
As our Associate Creative Director, Broadcast, you recognize the importance of video/music aesthetic and are able to, not only share your technical concepts, but also able to recommend visual improvements to a variety of art and video work, in order to promote the creative and broadcast combined vision.
This is an ideal opportunity if you are a creative with a video editor background. Working closing with the creative and broadcast teams, you're confident and comfortable in both arenas, and are able to understand the nuanced aspects of both worlds.
NOTE: Please be aware, you will NOT be given consideration without providing access to samples of your reel. Additionally, we're looking for a team player who can share their concepts and how to execute them.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (include but are not limited to the following):
/ Minimum 8 years of experience as an advertising agency creative, including having a Broadcast, video/editing background (your portfolio matters more than your tenure!)
/ Exceptional verbal/presentation skills
/ Proven ability for presenting to clients in a personable, clear, persuasive manner
/ Experience in music/video editing, including traditional and new media
/ Must be able to multi-task effectively
/ Self-starter who knows what to do and doesn't have to be told. Proactive!
/ Previous experience with entertainment accounts is a plus
/ Bachelor's Degree in a related field
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):
/ Partners and collaborates across integrated agency lines
/ Collaborates with ECDs and Broadcast Director on Big Idea and day-to-day solutions and participate in developing pitches to help land our next great client
/ Promote continual creative team improvement and actively contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, excellence and accountability
/ Elevate the design aesthetic of all deliverables while ensuring brand integrity
/ Articulating creative concepts and developing them in an organized, compelling manner
/ An understanding of video production, including selecting production and supervising edits
