This is Full Time position with benefits in the Entertainment Department at SeaWorld San Diego.
Basic Job Functions & Principle Duties:
•Maintains all lighting and special effects for all show areas, attractions, facilities and special events.
•Monitors and repairs to component level the theatrical elements at all show areas, attractions, facilities and special events.
•Maintains equipment inventory and researches spare parts as necessary.
•Installs theatrical elements for seasonal shows and special events.
•Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Education & Training:
•Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to meet requirements to drive SeaWorld vehicles.
•Must have 2 years previous experience with theatrical lighting, special effects or theatrical rigging.
•Must be proficient with the following test equipment; VOM, cable tracer, clamp on multi meter.
•Must possess soldering skills.
•Must have intermediate knowledge and operational skills of theatrical lighting consoles.
Hours & Availability:
•40 hours per week
•Must have 5 days of unrestricted availability to include weekends, holidays, late nights, and early mornings.
Pay Rate - $16.30/hour
