Scripps Networks Interactive is currently seeking a Senior Ad Sales Research Analyst to join their New York office. The Senior Analyst will report to the Director, Ad Sales Research and be responsible for providing strategic research support for Travel Channel and GAC. This person will leverage syndicated research resources to create customized solutions for sales and marketing positioning.
Job Description:
Responsibilities
• Partner with Ad Sales team to produce actionable insights, compelling stories and persuasive network positioning
• Produce comprehensive analyses, reports and sales materials covering the networks, programs and dayparts
• Create compelling presentations and one-sheets highlighting the strategic value and performance of each network
• Respond to ad-hoc research requests with customized deliverables and recommendations
• Develop marketplace intelligence reports to identify new business and share improvement opportunities
Qualifications
/Requirements
• Four year degree (B.A., B.S.) from an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing, Media, Finance or related field
• Three plus years in media research with a television network, advertising agency or media research provider
• Expertise with Nielsen systems (National TV Toolbox/NPower, NBI, NCS and Ad Intel), Star Media, MRI, Simmons, Kantar Media and Rentrak TV Essentials
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to present research both orally and in writing
