Food Network Snapchat Discover Sr. Producer
Food Network digital is growing our team and looking for an experienced social video producer to create delicious Snapchat content for our popular Discover channel. This trend savvy foodie will help us pitch, develop, and execute a irresistibly tasty content slate for original video as well as serve as a team leader with the Editor in Chief, serving as backup for presentations, internal and external meetings and content planning.
You'll shoot original series, repurpose existing/licensing content while working with our awesome editorial, design, and social teams to plan and manage the editorial calendar.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
• Pitch, greenlight, produce and/or oversee original Snapchat series and digital content, repurpose existing content and license content, working with production companies and in-house teams with the Editor in Chief and Food Network's digital video EP.
• Work with editorial, design, video and social teams on Snapchat and broader Food Network platforms to plan and manage the editorial calendar.
• Develop the look and feel of new series and daily editions including creation of storylines, themes, formats, and graphics for original and repurposed editorial and editorially integrated content.
• Oversee video deliverables calendar, provide feedback on cuts and track appropriate assets.
• Work with production management to track and manage budget.
• Create and maintain relationships with on-camera talent and external influencers.
• Work with editorial and design teams to boost the video programming offering to align with KPIs.
• Monitor and consider competitive programming and marketplace trends in content development.

Although we try to stick to the 9-5 work schedule, sometimes our work extends into evenings, holidays and there may be a little travel occasionally. YOU
• You have 5 years of digital video production experience a bachelor's degree
• You have proven experience in content conception, development, and execution for digital platforms and younger-mindset audiences.
• You're comfortable shooting, editing and generally being a jack-of-all-trades in production
• You've managed a team or others previously
• You're no newbie to working with editorial, design and brand teams
• You're known as the social media guru and know the in's and out's of all things Snapchat and what content does well
• You shine with a 'can do' positive attitude and love collaborating with multiple partners
• You aren't afraid to explore new ways of thinking and tap into creativity
• You have knowledge of current post-production tools and processes and know your way around video editing
• You are a self-starter and strong teammate who can work independently and responsibly in a start-up style environment
• You monitor timelines and adjust work as needed to achieve incredible success.
• You are a strong spoken/written communicator with the ability to develop creative, clear, and concise storytelling for a variety of audiences
• You have excellent organizational and time management skills and rock at managing multiple assignments at once.
• You can negotiate, strategize and coordinate people and processes.
• You have existing relationships with digital production companies, shooters and agents
