Full Time Job
The Sales Assistant acts as the primary point of contact for all matters relating to Order stewardship for partnerships between Travel Channel and Great American Country and agencies/clients within the Southeast territory. As a liaison between the local team, advertisers, and related internal departments, he/she oversees and facilitates ideation, production and delivery needs throughout the entire sales process.
Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
• prospecting new clients/agency acquisitions throughout the territory
• researching clients/product categories within relevant software with the purpose of network positioning
• building presentations for client meetings
• overseeing production of Co-Branded Marketing materials (receipt of client logo, footage, and brand/copy points)
• heavy schedule maintenance (trafficking of commercial spots, flighting of Orders)
• responsible for ensuring guaranteed impressions are delivered via monitoring of stewardship, placement of ADU units and relaying post reports/MSAs to advertisers
• point of contact for Traffic, Pricing and Planning, Inventory, Marketing, Research and Accounting Departments
• software usages include Broadway, MRI, Kantar's Adspender and Ad Database, with a heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.

• database entry and management
Education
& Experience
• 1 year experience in advertising, marketing and/or media sales environment preferred
• Bachelor's Degree

• Applies thorough/advanced functional/technical and business knowledge related to one's specialty area to accomplish tasks and responsibilities
• Learns and applies new information, concepts, and techniques in area of practice
• Adjusts work plans and priorities in response to unexpected or immediate needs of others on team
• Must be able and willing to provide overtime work when necessary
• Understanding of basic Media Math is a bonus
• Strong interest in a future Ad Sales or Ad Sales Marketing role
Computer/Technical
• Proficient working with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
