Scripps Networks Interactive, the leader in lifestyle media with top brands such as HGTV, Food Network, and Travel Channel, is searching for a Programming Coordinator to support the many cool projects the programming team develops for our top 10 network HGTV as well as DIY Network, and GAC. Joining us at headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee, this project management ninja will help keep our team on track logging and coordinating all pitches, demo tapes and talent tapes as well as maintaining programming databases.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
• Maintain multiple department databases, including master database of pitches, proof of concept's, pilots with submissions and their status
• Pitch in to supply duplications and links of assets, pilots, and series shows for outside use
• Manage and pull clips from various shows to be used by executive team for ad sales and other network sizzles
• Clear all proposed titles with Legal for series, series episodes, and stunts
• Serve as liaison to Business Affairs to track talent contracts and production contracts
• May help us out on occasion as point of contact among talent, their agents and managers and programming personnel
• Partner with our digital folks to help coordinate shared talent, pitches and content while also helping obtain programming/series assets to be shared
• Fields requests from production companies and individuals seeking to pitch ideas and talent to the network and communicates company legal policy and submission guidelines and procedures
• Create and distribute copies of weekly/monthly reports
• Managing calendars, coordinating meetings, conference calls, catering and help with expenses for VP of Programming and VP Program Planning
• Schedule and Maintain reoccurring department meetings acting as key person for gathering and organizing all materials (video clips and sizzle reels).
YOU
• You have 2 years of production experience; associate's degree in broadcast, film or related field preferred.
• You have a consistent record of working in programming and production environments
• You have excellent communication and follow-up skills and are capable of working on multiple projects in various stages of production in an extremely fast-paced environment;
• You shine with a 'can do' positive attitude and love collaborating with multiple teammates
• You have impeccable organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and make sure to always dot your 'i's and cross your 't's
• You monitor timelines and adjust your work as needed, prioritizing the most important pieces to achieve incredible success.
• You're a multi-tasker and professional who keeps it together and keeps rolling along even when things get tough.
• You can really work your way around Microsoft products
