Job Description:
Scripps Networks Interactive, the leader in lifestyle media with top brands such as HGTV, Food Network, and Travel Channel, is on the hunt for our next amazing Content Marketing and Development Producer to join us in New York, New York at our Scripps Lifestyle Studio. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, this energetic creative will pitch, develop, and commission/produce short form integrated videos and video series for our well loved digital brands and social media platforms.

Your Opportunity
• Develop creative, editorially driven, audience-attracting video concepts that highlight Scripps Networks Interactive's unique value as entertaining, inspirational, actionable on-air networks and digital sites
• Work with the Director as the daily point of contact for incoming content marketing requests between SNI's Interactive Ad Sales Marketing team and Scripps Lifestyle Studios responding to RFPs and Sales Requests in a timely manner.
• Shape large and small scale ideas into innovative, cross-platform content marketing programs that are custom-made for specific client initiatives and their important metrics, while maintaining Scripps' high level of editorial and brand integrity
• Track trends in content marketing and integrated video to evolve studio campaigns
• Manage assigned video projects, including pitching ideas as well as executing them
• Work with internal groups (digital sales, brand editorial, video team, etc.) and key partners for efficient, high-quality results and clear communication
• Help identify and recruit top-tier lifestyle video talent collaborators for editorial series and branded opportunities
• Develop relationships with agents, talent, producers, shooters and editors across home, food and travel categories
• Oversee production companies, pitching and creating audience-first, client-appealing content ideas
• Oversee multiple simultaneous productions of short form site and social video from inception through maintenance
• Ensure high-quality, on-time, on-budget deliverables, troubleshooting as needed
Something to note:
Although we try to stick to the 9-5 work schedule, sometimes our work extends into evenings, holidays and there may be a little travel occasionally. Don't worry though, one of our core values is Work/Life Balance and we stick to it. We're definitely flexible and get that work is only one part of your life.
You
• You have 3 years of experience in digital video programming and production
• You're no newbie at working in lifestyle programming, consumer brands, social media and content marketing / ad sales experience. Agency experience is a plus
• Don't forget to attach your portfolio with samples of production work*
• You thrive at coming up with creative solutions for multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, growing department
• You have that knack at anticipating and accommodating needs, requests and issues coordinating with multiple departments across editorial, sales and production
• You totally get the social and digital landscape and are known as the ''go-to'' when it comes to knowing about the latest trends on different platforms (web, mobile, OTT and emerging social platforms) and the ways people consume video on each
• You have existing relationships with digital production companies, shooters and agents
• You shine with a 'can do' positive attitude and love collaborating with multiple partners
• You aren't afraid to explore new ways of thinking and tap into their creativity
• You have knowledge of current post-production tools and processes and know your way around an edit bay
• You are a self-starter and strong teammate who can work independently and responsibly.
• You monitor timelines and adjust work as needed to achieve incredible success.
• You are a strong spoken/written communicator with the ability to develop creative, clear, and concise storytelling for a variety of audiences
• You have excellent organizational and time management skills and rock at managing multiple assignments at once.
• You can negotiate, strategize and coordinate people and processes.
• You're just as passionate as we are about our brands (Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel and more)
