Job Description:
Spoon University, part of the Scripps Networks Interactive family, currently has an opening for an Post Production Manager to support the video team in New York, New York.
We're looking for an awesome team player join our energetic video team to coordinate and supervise our extensive network of video editors. This is a perfect fit if you are passionate about food, video post-production and working closely with content creators.
WHAT IS SPOON UNIVERSITY?
The Spoon University community is made up of a network of thousands of foodie contributors across hundreds of college campuses, joining forces to create amazing work together, learn from their peers and inspire their generation to eat more intelligently.
THE GIG
• Provide clear and comprehensive creative and technical notes on the videos that are coming in.
• When necessary, give specific suggestions on how to fix the visual/audio/color problem you're noticing.
• Organize, maintain and oversee the post-production calendar.
• Make sure deadlines are met and keep track of the volume and status of video content.
YOU
• You have 3 years of video editing experience
• You're a pro at Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder and are familiar with Wipster, Google Suites and working on a Mac
• You have a clear understanding of video and multimedia formats
• You are a strong spoken/written communicator with the ability to develop creative, clear, and concise storytelling for a variety of audiences
• You have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments at once.
• You shine with a 'can do' positive attitude and love collaborating with multiple teammates
• You have impeccable organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and make sure to always dot your 'i's and cross your 't's
• You're a multi-tasker and problem solver who keeps it together and keeps rolling even when things get tough.
