Full Time Paid Internship
We are currently seeking a Food.com summer intern.
Job Description:
This summer internship will begin on or after June 5, 2017 and end on or before August 25, 2017.
Internship Qualifications
• Intern must be a rising or current junior, rising or current senior, graduate student, or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduation date) at an accredited college/university.
• Applicants must have completed their sophomore year prior to the start of the internship.
• Must have previous internship experience and/or participated in college clubs/organizations, and/or in-depth coursework in a related field
• Legally eligible to work in the United States. Scripps Networks is unable to sponsor visas for interns. If you are an international student not already studying in the U.S. on an F-1 or J-1 visa, then you have to go through a university or an outside organization (internship placement agency) that will sponsor your visa.
• Must have strong oral and written communications skills, as well as exceptional organization and planning skills
• You must include your anticipated graduation
• Must have an interest in the media and television industries
Food.com Editorial Intern Responsibilities
• Create content for the food.com website and associated platforms around food editorial and trending culinary topics for home cooks
• Partner with editorial team to activate the food.com community
• Source and program images and recipe content into Food.com CMS
• Participate in content brainstorming meetings and help create photo galleries, articles, videos, packages, and other editorial assets
• Support social media efforts of the food.com brand
Food.com Social Intern Responsibilities
• Post editorial and SEO-beneficial content to social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and Google
• Pitch media, content and story ideas for The Food.com blog
• Monitor, moderate and participate in conversations across the Food.com social channels
• Vet and edit existing photos for use in editorial and programming projects
• Write, curate and build content to support Food.com's editorial and SEO priorities, including editorial photo galleries, content packages, digital events, how-to tutorials, articles and editorial topic pages
