HRIS Analyst
Scripps Networks Interactive, the leader in lifestyle media bringing you popular TV networks such as HGTV, Food Network and Travel Channel is seeking a talented HR Business Analyst to join our team at headquarters in Knoxville, TN. This key member of the HR Operations team is responsible for front line, direct contact with customers and internal technical support of HR technologies. Responsibilities include HRIS process design, project management, configuration, diagnosis, reporting & analytics, data processing, and system testing

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
• Function as the Project Manager for all HR system upgrades and new product implementations.
• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users on a regular basis to assess business needs.
• Define business requirements, establish systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
• Lead design sessions for purposes of enhancing business processes, operations and workflows.
• Conduct research on software products to make recommendations and assist in purchasing efforts.
• Manage, monitor and support the daily operation of the HR database.
• Regularly review and verify data in all HR systems to ensure consistency and data integrity.
• Test and implement new versions and patches to the HR software based on the organization's standard test plans.
• Work with functional project team on requirements and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests for modified and new systems and other post-implementation support.
• Provide training to end users for all modified processes and new systems, creating automation of training where possible.
• Other responsibilities as assigned, which may become essential to the position.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE?
• BS/BA in related discipline and at least 5 years of experience in related field - OR -
• MS/MA/MBA or other graduate degree and at least 3 year of experience in related field.
• Expertise with Workday is highly desired.
• Requires diverse experience related to HR, HR technologies, service delivery and project management.
• Ability to focus on continuous improvement of services and processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and bring current best practices back to stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, benefit procedures and payroll processes.
• Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes and experience with databases tools.
