Full Time Job
Develops proposals and presentations to address priorities and preferences of assigned market segments or specific advertising customers. Develops account specific materials to assist account executives in closing sales. Conducts analyses to determine the best advertising inventory to include in proposal to maximize revenue. Suggests appropriate program mixes to enhance revenues. Assists in the analysis and creation of advertising rates. Researches and provides market intelligence to enhance decision making and competitive advantage.

• Work with Account Executive in implementing Long Form pricing strategy and maintenance of the paid programming segment of the DR business for Travel Channel and Great American Country Networks
• Monitor and manage the weekly inventory reports and notifying buying community of rate changes and current inventory climate.
• Manage booking and maintenance of high profile, secured deals by tracking inventory charts and working with the pricing and planning team and inventory management
• Maintenance and understanding of internal team documents including but not limited to salesperson journal, top 20 advertiser list, quarterly comparison report and current planning rates etc.
• Support Sales Assistant in maintenance of workflow in times of need
• Provide clients with audience research and network information by creating one sheets and decks as needed
• Responsible for tracking inventory on a local level and negotiating pricing with buying community
• Build strong relationships with key clients/agency in a personal, professional and hands-on manner
• Perform other duties as needed and as directed by the supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 2 years in agency/client/ad industry sales experience.
• Equipment: Computer proficiency, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Broadway is a plus.
Skills/Abilities:
Extremely focused with sharp attention to detail and ability to work independently in fast-paced environment. Good presentation, verbal communication skills, strong negotiation skills a must. Ability to think proactively and excellent prioritization skills. Must be a team player.
