Job Description:
Spoon University is seeking a curious and passionate Community Marketing Manager to enrich members' experiences and help chapters make more of an impact on their communities. This role will bridge the gap between our community team and our sales and partnerships team and is a unique role at the intersection of business development, marketing, event planning and community management.
As the Community Marketing Manager, you'll help our members find resources to grow their organic social media presence and become experienced event planners, with the ultimate goal of coaching them to become eligible for branded executions that come from the sales team. You'll be the go-to person at SpoonHQ for all of our members regarding social media, partnerships and events. You'll also be the resident community expert for our sales team to help them execute on all branded campaigns with physical components. Every day will be different and you'll have a lot of autonomy.
The CMM must have a lot of experience planning events and know all the little details required to make them amazing. The CMM will also develop in-kind partnerships with brands that can provide value or resources to our chapters, with the goal of leveraging those external relationships to help grow chapters' social following and event frequency. The CMM's ultimate goal is to set chapters up for success so they can unlock paid branded opportunities and seamlessly execute advertising campaigns.
Learning and mentorship are core to our values and to our organization, and you should embody a sense of curiosity, openness and empathy that will bleed into the community and the rest of the team.
