Full Time Job
The Digital Account Specialist is responsible for planning and campaign management of client campaigns for Scripps Networks digital properties. Digital Account Specialist will identify which media platforms/products would best advertise a client's brand or product, build media plans given pricing and inventory direction, gather creative assets from advertisers, update ad sales, client and ad agency of campaign's progress, and monitor delivery of campaigns.
Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop sales presentations and digital media plans. Requires proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex merging of cells, etc), PowerPoint, Salesforce and third party ad servers (including but not limited to MediaMind, and DART).
• Interface with other sales offices, digital ad sales marketing, ad traffic and other relevant internal departments.
• Fulfill requests for proposals and any revisions, proactively follow up.
• Ensure each account/campaign setup is complete prior to campaign launch (i.e. liability forms in place, creative specs sent, reporting schedules set, data sourced, etc.).
• Secure creative by deadline and manage digital production for all campaigns.
• Manage campaigns via weekly performance reporting, execute necessary optimizations, and create campaign recaps.
• Working with the client and the account team to understand the client's business objectives and advertising strategy.
• Liaising with the creative agency team, clients and consumers to develop media strategies and campaigns.
• Making decisions on the best form of media for specific clients and campaigns.
• Identifying target audiences and analyzing their characteristics, behavior and media habits and building plans that align with client needs.
• Presenting proposals, including cost schedules, to clients.
• Recommending the most appropriate types of media to use, as well as the most effective time spans and locations.
• Collaborate with Finance team on monthly billing, timely invoicing and liaison with client(s) accordingly.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns in order to inform future campaigns.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor degree in a numerical discipline and/or equivalent years of analytical experience.
• Strong analytical, communication and time management skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret trends and react with strategic/tactical changes.
• Good technical skills and knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel.
• Knowledge of industry technologies (Ad serving, Operative, Salesforce).
• Ability to work face-to-face and electronically (e.g. telephone, e-mail, IM, social media).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to lead and work with a diverse team.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Standard office environment. Sedentary work. Travel required (less than 5%).
Education
al and Experience Requirements
Bachelor degree in a numerical discipline or equivalent years of analytical experience
