Supports marketing programs directed to advertisers to increase viewership, enhance brand awareness, generate subscribers and increase market share.
Job Description:
Sales Development
• Work with Vice President, Directors and Managers to support development and implementation of added value sales promotions, which help to promote HGTV and DIY Network and our advertisers. Take lead on assigned marketing proposal requests.
• Assist in development of category decks and sponsorship packages, aligned with sales development strategy.
Sponsorship Management
• Oversee network sponsorship tracking grids including promotional opportunities, deadlines, and sponsor status.
• Manage all sponsorship inventory and scheduling for theme weeks and stunts - from tagged tune-ins to integrated premieres and encores.
• Liaise with media strategies team to continually update and refine sponsorship opportunities based on schedule changes/new information.
• Communicate with Sales teams to manage turnkey sponsorship fulfillment.
Production Management
• Manage the creation of custom short-form video elements for sponsors.
• Maintain the taggable video library for HGTV and DIY and work directly with the Producer/Editors on all topics and the overall library maintenance.
• Assist and back up Managers and Directors in the execution of integrations and custom productions.
B2B/Trade Marketing
• Update all marketing asset one-sheets; update the B Level.
• Create bi-weekly programming/marketing informational outreach and tune-in alerts for Sales.
• Maintain the B2B websites for the Home Category.
• Provide occasional event support; liaison with Consumer Events.
Other
• Ensure the ASM SharePoint site is operational and optimized.
• Provide support for budget tracking; process all invoices for the department and reconcile with the GL each month.
• Provide ongoing training for sales support staff, planners and assistants, on the ASM process and tools.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a marketing or sales support role
• Bachelor Degree
Eligibility Requirements
• PowerPoint savvy
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) – writing samples may be requested
• Strong creative thinking and problem solving ability
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Willing and able to travel
Strongly Desired
• Experience managing client promotions and custom executions
