Our company is a fast-growing entertainment market research firm based in Los Angeles.
We are currently looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, and intelligent people to join our research department.
If you are a movie fan, enjoy flexible hours, are a self-starter, appreciate the ability to work in an office or from home, and are available both daily and nightly, then this is the perfect job for you.
This is a part-time position (average of 29 hours a week - at most).
Though we DO have projects on weekends you must initially be available Monday through Friday from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM for training purposes. Once you are adequately trained you will transition to day shift hours (i.e. open availability from 8AM -8PM).
Your main responsibilities as a research ''Coder'' will be to group responses to movie surveys from recruited audiences into numerical value and submit those responses for analysis. Once you are able to code responses independently (i.e. without supervision) you will perform this task from home. As such, basic knowledge of Microsoft excel and a home computer are a must.
Motivated individuals are encouraged to attend movie screenings, as well. As a movie ''Screener'' you should be available from about 4PM to 4AM, as you will attend the event (i.e. research screening) then assist in the night coding session afterward. This is an amazing opportunity for film-lovers!
There is a lot of room to grow in this position and I encourage lots of cross-training.
I'm looking for detail oriented applicants that are truly interested in learning all aspects of entertainment market research. Those who excel in the initial stages of ''coding'' and ''screening'' will be considered for regular part time or full time positions depending on your availability and willingness to be part of the larger research team.
NOTE: All applicants must also have reliable transportation and two forms of government-issued ID.
