TITLE
3DS MAX PIPELINE DEVELOPER
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to Pipeline Leadership; designs, builds, and maintains in-house pipeline tools. Active pipeline team member supporting artist/production teams across studio projects. Demonstrated Intermediate skill level and up with; Max, Max Script and Python.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Works daily with Pipeline Management team to identify and implement existing and new features.
Attends daily scrum meetings.
Trouble shoot artist tool issues; develop effective solutions in collaboration w/pipeline team.
Support Production team; attend production meetings as need for information and requirements gathering.
Write Technical Briefs and provide supporting documentation
Identifies early areas of improvement; escalates issues as needed.
Various tasks assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
BA Computer Science, Math, or similar discipline (PREFERRED)
2+ years' experience in VFX, Gaming, or similar development environment.
Max, Max Script, Python (REQUIRED)
C++, Maya API . Mel Script, Shotgun, Nuke, QT, ArchViz a plus!
Experience delivering complete milestones/tasks under tight deadlines
SOFTWARE SKILLS
Max, Max Script, Python (REQUIRED)
C++, Maya API . Mel Script, Shotgun, Nuke, QT, ArchViz a plus!
SOFT SKILLS (Optional)
Strong written + verbal communication skills.
Eye for detail, initiative, and excellent organizational skills.
Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong trouble shooting/problem solving ability.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work OT, flexible hours, on call
