SMG Entertainment is a multi-faceted entertainment company specializing in the management of multi-platinum recording artists' careers. We are seeking a candidate to fill an Assistant / Coordinator role in our Santa Monica office. Candidates should work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be effective problem solvers, have the ability to multi-task efficiently, and be highly organized and detailed oriented.
Duties range from overseeing day-to-day scheduling and operations for our artists which includes but is not limited to booking travel and advancing upcoming events, maintaining calendars for office and personnel, managing interns, running social media, organizing client data, facilitating promotion and fan requests, and carrying out administrative tasks. They should also have some prior experience in the music industry and have a strong passion for music, be knowledgeable of Google/Gmail online tools, and be self-motivated and proactive with great enthusiasm.
