Work Environment: Small, fast paced work environment in the Music and Entertainment industry.
Looking for a jump into the music and entertainment industry, then this is a great place to start and learn from experienced professionals. The entertainment industry is an exciting, fast paced environment that is constantly in motion. The Administrator/Marketing Assistant will have multiple duties and daily tasks to perform, and should be able to multi-task in order to keep up with the work environment. Previous experience as an assistant or in the music industry is a plus. Experience in Social Media Marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) is a plus. There are possible opportunities to travel and work shows.
Daily duties include, but not limited to:
--Build events and conduct ticket counts using Ticketmaster software.
--Liaise with agencies, venues, ticketing companies, management companies, and record labels.
--Respond and send emails to venues, promoters, agencies, agents, artist, etc.
--Break down marketing expenditure into physical and digital ad packs.
--Print and send tickets to radio stations, venues, and fan club ticketing companies.
--Send completed contracts to relevant parties.
--Collect e-mail addresses from various venues.
--General clerical tasks such as answering phones, taking messages, making copies, filing, etc.
--Organizational skills / Multi-tasking skills a plus.
