Full Time Job
SDI Media is currently seeking a native Castilian Spanish speaker to translate, proof and administer other quality control measures to ensure accurate, timely and high-quality translations for iTunes content at SDI Media USA. This position coordinates directly with client to complete as-assigned projects on a daily basis. Performs related administrative and project related duties as required. This position requires an outgoing and detail-oriented mindset. High-level communication skills are a must.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
•The ability to translate and proof consistent, high-quality content
•Complete work assignments in a timely and accurate manner
•Able to apply client-specific protocols as needed and adhere to all special instructions
•Work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
•Ability to work independently and as a team player
•Be proactive and communicate problems/issues/developments effectively to supervisor, peers, and/or internal staff as needed
•Respond to client requests in a timely manner.
•Maintain a professional disposition with clients in all manners of communication
•Create and maintain documentation for the iTunes work for your specific language
•Train back-ups as needed
•Maintain/update client contact information
•Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis
•Works to promote positive relations between the client and the SDI Team during daily interaction and communication
•Complete other duties as assigned
•Adheres to company policies and procedures
•Adheres to the specific schedule
•Must work overtime and weekends when needed
Qualifications and Experience
•Excellent command of Castilian Spanish, including slang and colloquial expressions
•Advanced knowledge of Spanish culture
•Excellent computer skills; Apple proficient; Numbers and/or Excel experience a plus
•Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 2-3 years related experience
