Full Time Job
Coordinates all aspects of international production workflows by performing the following duties:
- Collect and negotiate costs from international studios; issue POs and approve respective invoices
- Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
- Communicate and execute schedule needs by coordinating international resources accordingly
- Track key milestones to ensure smooth production and communicate any changes to Account Representative
- Work closely with local production coordinators to ensure post-production dates and requirements are met
- Revise schedule according to client requests, production needs, established priorities, and availability or capability of resources, staff or equipment
- Assist coworkers on their projects, if needed
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product, if needed
- Keep track of and organize production elements such as, but not limited to, scripts and approvals
- Verify in the best way possible that special production instructions have been followed by all parties
- Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems when needed
- Communicate to supervisor motivational tools as needed for employees and/or vendors to achieve work goals
- Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes affecting efficiency and quality of production
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
- Must work overtime and weekends, when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Programs & database experience preferred - FileMaker)
- Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
- Ability to digest and summarize in precise terms a project when working with dubbing studio and employees
- Excellent adaptation to different cultures
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Minimum one year experience with coordinating/scheduling (preferably in a dubbing environment)
- Ability to work 40 (or more) hours per week to fulfill position duties and responsibilities
