We are looking for candidates who are adept at time management, able to implicate good judgment, and work well with juggling multiple tasks under pressure.
The Production Coordinator will oversee the scheduling and completion of work assigned to SDI USA's subtitling clients. This position schedules work for the Production Team to expedite subtitle creation by performing essential duties and responsibilities which include but are not limited to the below criteria.
Please note this is not a film production role; but one that is geared more towards administrative duties.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain and create language team schedules and establish priorities for resources
Communicate and coordinate subtitling production tasks for new and ongoing projects to ensure that delivery requirements and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame
Revise assignments when needs to accommodate shifting priorities
Communicate with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on items affecting efficiency and quality
Spear-head special projects as assigned by supervisor
Analyze and resolve challenges as issues arise
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Perform other related duties, as assigned
Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
Must be able to demonstrate:
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Programs & data-base experience a plus)
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
Extremely detailed oriented
Ability to work 40 (or more) hours per week to fulfil position responsibilities
