This position is based in Culver City, CA and reporting to the Production Supervisor. The Scheduling Coordinator will schedule compression and work materials creation as required for Global Media Services (GMS). In conjunction with the GMS Production Supervisor, the coordinator is responsible for validating, tracking, and prioritizing all GMS projects to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting individual who can work independently as well as within an established team. A strong background in media operations will also be critical to the success of the position.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
•Schedule and assign orders to Global Media Services resources.
•Prioritize orders against capacity to meet production due dates.
•Interact with Customer Managers managing expectations of due dates, source material types, locations, deliverable types and locations.
•Able to manage changes and resolve issues while a project is underway, the scheduler will communicate with the respective Account Managers, GMS Production Supervisor and operations team.
•Identify gaps in practices and improve procedures.
•Adhere to company policies and procedures
•Perform general administration duties as needed
•Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience
•Bachelor's degree preferred or equivocal work experience.
•Must be highly computer literate, displaying proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Filemaker Pro preferred.
•Prior experience managing customer needs and projects providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
•Prior experience improving the quality of technical operations.
