Full Time Job
This entry level position is based in Los Angeles, CA and reports to the Dubbing Production Manager. This position will be charged with managing various Dubbing projects for SDI Media USA including but not limited to; voice over and lip-sync dubbing, editing, mixing and other localization services for entertainment and multimedia clients.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Collects and negotiates costs for local projects; issue POs and approve respective invoices.
Reviews production schedules and estimates work hours needed for completion of job assignments.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Communicates and executes schedule needs by coordinating resources accordingly, including but not limited to directors, talent, engineers, rooms and third-party resources (engineers and/or studios).
Tracks key milestones to ensure smooth production and communicates any changes to Account Representative(s).
Revises schedule according to client requests, production needs, established priorities, and availability or capability of staff or equipment.
Works closely with local audio engineering team to monitor capacity and determine outsourcing needs for overflow.
Outsources audio post tasks to international hubs or local third-party vendors.
Assists team member on their projects, if needed.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product, if needed.
Tracks and organizes production elements such as, but not limited to, scripts and approvals
Ensures assignment of rights agreements are executed by all creative resources for all local projects.
Verifies special production instructions have been followed by all parties.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists others in solving work problems when needed.
Communicates to supervisor motivational tools needed for employees and/or vendors to achieve work goals.
Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes affecting efficiency and quality of production.
Performs general administration duties as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
1/2 years experience in Dubbing/Post Production desired
Degree in Audio Post-Production or related field desired
Must have strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
