Full Time Job
This position provides critical support for the implementation of company-wide initiatives in the contracts and rights management area. Including but not limited to, working with production staff to ensure that SDI production contracts are executed in compliance with SDI policies and standards, local laws/requirements, and SDI clients' requirements.
This position requires a highly detail-oriented and organized individual with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands under deadline-driven scenarios. Commitment to quality, timely communication, and excellent customer service applies to all facets of the position.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
•Perform compliance review and approval of routine form agreements (e.g., dubbing assignments of rights) or other legal documents - against established protocols - to ensure proper execution in accordance with established SDI and/or client-specific administration requirements.
•Communicate with SDI staff and third party vendors to resolve any non-compliant agreements until the documents pass compliance review.
•Communicate status of compliance reviews to supervisor and other SDI management including sales, client services, production and finance.
•Maintain digital corporate files, contracts archive, and rights management database.
•Summarize and flag issues for supervisor and other management as necessary.
•Track production status information on a regular basis to monitor completion of routine form agreements timed to specific milestones (e.g., recording completion) and follow-up accordingly.
•Maintain SDI and client-specific standard workflow process documents and diagrams.
•Must be willing to adhere to a full-time schedule, with some flexibility to accommodate international offices across multiple time zones (e.g., Europe and US)

Qualifications and Experience
•Proficiency in business writing
•Must have: a professional demeanour, patience in spades with a willingness to explain requirements and educate others when needed
•Flexible and collaborative attitude with the ability to build good working relationships in person or remotely (via video chat, phone, email)
•Entertainment/media production experience (including avid consumption of film and TV content) and/or international experience (including travel) is a plus
•Previous experience working with contracts administration is an advantage, but not required
•Must be proficient with Excel, Word, PDF (Adobe) documents
