POSITION PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to support internal and external systems development and support, with a focus on maintaining accurate and reliable data. The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for requirements, design and testing of existing systems, and will also look for ways to utilize technology to improve efficiency and/or solve business problems. The Business Data Analyst will also be responsible for reviewing and ensuring data integrity, and work with the software team to process and clean up existing business data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with business users and IT staff to gather requirements that meet desired user functionality.
• Documents said requirements to gain user approval and provide developers with specifications to develop code.
• Develops design concepts and communicates with business and development team.
• Analyzes and documents data integrity/quality issues and creates scripts to correct.
• Pulls ad-hoc reports using SQL queries.
• Creates reports and/or data files based on user requirements.
• Tests and debugs new and existing applications based on functional specifications.
• Troubleshoots existing applications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be available and willing to work extended hours (and/or overtime for applicable non-exempt positions) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
• Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other relevant field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in an Analyst position.
• Familiarity with MS Office Desktop applications required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with data analysis.
• Experience working with business users and technical team.
• Experience with technical documentation (requirements, test plans, use cases, technical specifications).
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and other related Oracle applications a plus.
• Experience with database access/business intelligence tools a plus.
