ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(This section provides a general summary of the most significant job duties performed. It does not explain in detail every single duty performed.)
•Assistant to National Director of Agency Relations, which may include any and all secretarial work and other duties such as opening and sorting mail and faxes, securing meeting rooms, travel arrangements, etc
•Assists Senior Manager on an as-needed basis
•Field initial phone calls/questions and complaints from members/agents, managers, etc.
•Generate some written communication to agents/casting directors/attorneys regarding compliance with Agency Regulations
•Assist co-workers with projects as needed.
•Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
(The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.)
•Knowledge of SAG-AFTRA Agency Regulations is helpful
•Documentum and Oracle a plus
•Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
•Must be able to accurately type 35 WPM
•Superlative interpersonal skills-must be able to cultivate strategic and collaborative
relationships internally and externally.
•Detail oriented
•Able to organize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines
•Ability to work well under pressure/time constraints
•Able to prioritize tasks
•Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
•Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from
others is encouraged.
•Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at SAG's sole discretion.
•Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week (and/or overtime for applicable non- exempt positions), including weekends and holidays, as SAG determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
•Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG
determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
