This position will lead the company's efforts in all facets of social media strategy, community management, digital video production and other marketing initiatives. This position requires a highly-motivated individual with experience and a passion for pop culture and designing and implementing a Company's content strategy, producing relevant content for different media platforms.
Duties Include:
- Strong storytelling capabilities for social media.
- Maintain and evolve editorial voice across various social media platforms as appropriate for our brands.
- Curate relevant content to reach the company's ideal audiences/customers
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written); including working with our appropriate partners (iHeartMedia, Ryan Seacrest Distinction, TV Networks , blue chip brands, etc)
- Oversee design (i.e.: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and mobile presence).
- Represent the Company in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
- Demonstrate ability to map out social media marketing strategy and then execute that strategy resulting in successful metrics.
- Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.
- Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
- Develop and execute creative/script, coordinate and manage production, editing to create original content for all social media platforms
Required / Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of related experience and management of corporate and/or specific brand related social media platforms. Entertainment and/or celebrity brand experience strongly preferred.
- Strong familiarity with the functionality of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Vine, Tumblr, Snapchat, Pinterest and WordPress.
- Experience organizing and leading photo and video shoots.
- Expertise in video editing on Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro and/or other software programs
- Creative writer and talented storyteller with ability to use words to evoke emotion.
- Team player who is a self-starter with strong work ethic and professional demeanor
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects/campaigns at once.
- Flexible schedule including ability (and eagerness) to work early mornings, occasional late nights, and weekends
- Proficient in Photoshop, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Early adopter of new digital platforms and trends, with fierce curiosity of ''what's next?''
- Self-starter and competitive desire to discover viral content before your friends and major news sites.
- Knowledge and interest in pop culture, especially the next-generation of digital bred celebrities, from YouTube to Vine to Instagram.
- Strong interest -- and ability to -- produce original content for video platforms from start to finish.
