Overview: The Synchronization Licensing Sr. Coordinator's primary responsibility is to receive and quote on synchronization license inquires, as well as negotiate and issue licenses for Round Hill Music's catalog of songs. As part of the licensing process, the Sr. Coordinator will follow through with the filing of cue sheets and commercial logs to the proper performance right society. The Sr. Coordinator will be responsible for managing the song ingestion and tagging process into the company's creative music system.

Reports To: Director, Creative and Licensing
Location: Nashville, TN
Experience Level: 3 to 5 years
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)
• Issue synchronization quotes and licenses for Film Festivals, Video Streaming, Home Video, and Stage Productions, with others to be assigned
• Manage all aspects of contract administration for the foregoing licenses, including drafting, tracking outstanding licenses, and tracking the receipt of license fees, royalties, and other payments from licensees
• Update and maintain synchronization licensing database for specified areas
• Maintain TuneSat in order to track synch licenses and performances
• Cultivate direct relationships with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, etc., and track cue sheets, media buys, and any other synchronization-related performance income
• Interact directly with the Administration team to keep the company's network of Sub-Publishers updated on all newly purchased/administered catalogs and corresponding audio
• Liaise with A&R and Administration to get advance music and assets (instrumentals, splits, etc.)
• Import audio into our pitch system and tag it with corresponding song information and creative metadata
• Create and send out synch-related e-mail blasts for our music supervision clientele
• Assist on some pitching and song searches as needed
Required Skills
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of prior work experience at a record label, music publishing company, or licensing agency, with synchronization or related licensing experience
• Ability to efficiently and accurately quote and negotiate for synchronization and resolve license issues
• Experience with drafting as well as amending third party synchronization licenses
• Knowledge of Competitrack and other commercial tracking and monitoring services
• Ability to work independently, within a team-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to self-motivate and be a self-starter who takes responsibility for/ownership of tasks
• Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to be innovative and work toward improvements within scope of work
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the department and company, and to proactively create efficient and effective processes to help meet those needs
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to evolving situations
• Must have general computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphases in Word and Excel
• Photoshop skills are strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, or a similar service is preferred
