Description
Roscoe Stanley Productions (RSP) is seeking an enthusiastic intern who has a strong passion for the web, specifically in the social media arena. The virtual internship and dates are flexible.
Interns will work 12-15 hours a week for the fall semester.
Interns will have the opportunity to shadow writers, producers, videographers and editors at Roscoe Stanley Productions to gain an understanding of production house operations.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for increasing our brand awareness and driving internet traffic across RSP social media platforms. Responsibilities include but are not limited the below:
- Update social media platforms, making sure all content reflects current news cycle (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc)
- Compose, smart, strategic social media campaigns, tweets, creative hashtags
- Work with editorial and production to produce original content for social media platforms
- Engage with our audience on the topics that they are passionate about entertainment, music, lifestyle, news etc.
Requirements
Detail-oriented and organized
Self-starter, proactive, and uses time efficiently
Excellent research / report writing skills
Knowledge of social media - Facebook, Instagram Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, etc.
Knowledge of digital media software - Photoshop or other graphic design software, etc. is plus
Knowledge of video editing software - iMovie, Final Cut, or Windows Live Movie Maker is a plus
Creative and witty
Able to produce sparkling clean copy with little to no supervision
Reliable Transportation (Los Angeles applicants)
Valid Driver's License (Los Angeles applicants)
Available some nights/weekends
