Search for Lighting Artist jobs in Playa del Rey-CA
Rooster Teeth is looking for a skilled and experienced lighting artist to hop on board and join our ever growing team. The job requires that the applicant be able to lead a team both aesthetically and technically in order to produce work required for the show. The applicant must also be able to interface with our tech department in order to develop and maintain our growing pipeline.
Lighting Lead must be able to support the Post Visual Supervisor, comp leads and directors on creating the look expected for the show
Ability to work within a specified pipeline and with the tech team to make changes as necessary
Have the ability to mentor other artists both aesthetically and technically
Collaborate with lighting supervisor to review work for submission
Ability to troubleshoot and solve lighting related issues
Collaborate with multiple departments in order to meet their needs
Be able to light and render shots as quickly as possible across multiple shows
Demo reel showcasing a wide variety of lighting work
Knowledge of lighting and rendering within Maya
2-4 years experience as an Lighting Artist
Script Writing language experience a plus
Excellent communication skill
